Kids These Days
  • Kids These Days

  • I met these kids at the local coffee shop and was immediately captivated by them. There was something about them that I found quite intriguing as they sat on the threshold of adulthood. After a brief little chit chat, I pitched them on the idea of doing a photo shoot. I didn't realize it at the time, but they ranged in age from 14-16 years and had to clear it with their parents first. Needless to say, the parents were cool with it and gave the green light. During the course of our shoot, it came out that they were all Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the same church. I would be lying if I said that this didn't totally shatter the stereotype that I had previously held of senior citizen's in trench coats and fedoras handing out copies of the Watchtower and Awake.
